Maria Randolph Hanley

About The Artist
Growing up in Philadelphia, Maria considers her home the Southwest, living here since the early 90’s. She graduated with a degree in art education, majoring in printmaking with courses in photography. Her early photographic experiences included photographing weddings and special events.
She is an active member of the Enchanted Lens Camera Club and Chair of the Mentorship Committee as well as a past exhibition judge. In the past she has been a State Fair Judge in New Jersey as well as an entrepreneur as a studio and gallery owner. Notable accomplishments include art published in the book Printmaking in the Sun. Maria has won various awards and has two ten foot calligraphic framed restorations hanging at Carpenter’s Hall in Philadelphia at the Independence Square Historical site (curation, restoration and preservation of historical art).
Her passion continues for teaching and sharing her experience and knowledge of photography and digital darkroom techniques. Presently, she is enjoying photography as a second career teaching classes, mentoring/coaching one-on-one, leading photography tours, and taking lots of photos.
